The shape of it

What you’ll actually do.

Ten guests, eight days: a night in Cagliari, four inland and two on the coast.

The Sarcidano is the quiet middle of the island: stone villages, small farms, wood-fire cooking, wine made only with local grape varieties. The Sulcis-Iglesiente, down on the southwest coast, is old mining country, ringed by limestone cliffs and crossed by an old ore-truck road with breathtaking views.

We spend the first half of the week inland, helping a beekeeper, visiting an olive oil mill, sleeping at a tiny dairy farm’s boutique accommodation, foraging mushrooms in a forest, and visiting coppersmiths and weavers. Then we drop down to the coast for the historic tonnara. We’ll be fishing on a boat, getting a few swims under the morning sun and enjoying fresh seafood lunches.

“The point is to discover Sardegna through its culinary and gastronomic culture and let it absorb you.”

Some days start early, others begin slowly, based on the days itinerary. Lunch is never rushed, there’s wine with most meals or a swim when the sea is close enough.

We sleep in three places: a hotel in Cagliari, a boutique residence in the peaceful countryside and a hotel on the Sulcis coast .

Eight days,
one rhythm.

A loose plan.
